These Ayurvedic remedies will be useful in saving health from pollution

These days people are struggling with smog or air pollution spreading in the atmosphere. The pollutants of smog reach our body through breath, which prove harmful to our health. These affect lung function after some time. Also, high blood pressure, heart attack, diabetes, sinusitis, etc. can cause health problems.

There are some methods to overcome these problems.

It is important that your immunity is strong to avoid pollution. To clean the superfluous elements of pollution, which are called free radicals in medical language, it is necessary to free the body from toxic substances. This happens only when your digestive system is functioning well. According to Ayurveda, your digestive system will be fine, then Tridosha – Vata, Pitta and Kapha will be less in the body, the digestive process will run smoothly and no cough and cold problem, there will be no problem in breathing. Ayurveda emphasizes the adoption of things like ginger, garlic, basil, neem, black pepper, peepali in daily life to cope with pollution in the environment and to improve immunity.

  • You should put one drop of pure ghee in the nose in the morning and evening to keep the nose clean. By this, the wind pipe is cleaned, so that there is no difficulty in breathing and harmful elements do not reach the lungs.
  • Molasses is very beneficial in cleansing the lungs. The iron in it also cleans our arteries, which increases the oxygen supply to the blood and reduces breathing problems. 5 grams of jaggery should be consumed daily. At night, you can take jaggery at bedtime with warm milk. You can eat it anytime of the day. If you want, you can add jaggery to tea and with the help of it you can make sesame Laddu.
  • Triphala can be taken at bedtime. This will help in improving your digestive system along with increasing your immunity. One teaspoon of Triphala can be taken with honey, lukewarm water or milk. Taking it with honey is more beneficial. Triphala syrup for children is also available with a specialist. The needy child can be given a spoonful of syrup at bedtime. Triphala helps in keeping the three doshas of our body – Vata, Pitta and Kapha in even nature. That is, if these defects are increased or decreased, then Triphala balances them.

  • Citrus fruits must be taken. Orange, lemon, orange juice are very good. They are also good for the heart.
  • Drinking ginger tea twice a day is beneficial. Take half a teaspoon of ginger juice mixed with half a teaspoon of honey. Ginger enhances immunity and is beneficial in respiratory problems. If you feel a sore throat, drink ginger decoction. Finely chop a small piece of ginger in a glass, add 4-5 leaves of basil and 2-3 grains of black pepper and boil it in two cups of water. If the water remains half then filter it and drink it. Do this 2-3 times a day. This will reduce the sore throat and improve the respiratory system. If there is a complaint of mucus, then add a little rock salt to the decoction.

  • By taking ground black pepper with honey, the phlegm stored in the chest is removed, you will avoid breathing problems.
  • To avoid problems caused by pollution, drink 3 grams or half a teaspoon of turmeric in a glass of milk and drink it. You can also take a teaspoon of honey by adding 3 grams of turmeric.
  • Drink basil juice. Take pre-made 10-15 ml basil juice mixed with water twice a day. It is helpful in removing pollutants from your windpipe or respiratory system. If desired, grind 5-6 leaves of basil at home and extract the juice in it. You can take one teaspoon of honey mixed with it.
  • ‘You can take 3 grams of Peepli mixed with honey for a maximum of 7 days, but it should not be given to children. This helps in comfortable breathing.
  • 2-3 grams of desi ghee a day is beneficial. Ghee excretes toxic elements of the body.
  • If the respiratory tract is closed, then adding 2-3 drops of pipermint oil or 4-5 drops of eucalyptus oil twice a day for 5 minutes is beneficial.
  • Boil neem leaves in a pot of water. Take a bath after mixing it in bath water. It removes contaminants on the skin and detoxifies the skin. If possible, eat 2-3 neem leaves in a week.
  • ‘Regular full-body massage makes the body’s lymphatic system healthy. You can massage with mustard, olive oil in winter, coconut oil is good in summer. This brings out the toxic deposits in the blood. Blood circulation is better, oxygen supply is increased and body cleanses.
  • Drops of rose water can be added to the eyes in the morning and evening due to pollution caused by eye irritation. This will keep the eyes clear.
  • Cucumber or potato slices can be cut and placed on the eyes, this will cool the eyes. To avoid dryness or irritation in the eyes from pollution, the eyes should be washed repeatedly with cold water. One can try another solution for this.
  • Soak Triphala powder in a glass at night, filter it in the morning and wash the eyes with this water, the eyes will get relief.
  • If possible, keep the hair covered while going out to protect the hair from pollution. One hour before bathing, massage your hair and massage it well. Do not leave the oil on for long, as it can cause severe damage to your hair.
  • Use a clean mask on going out.
  • ‘Use air purifiers at home. Air conditioners can also be used at high temperatures so that the temperature in the room is fine.
  • Coolers can also be run for 10 minutes in the morning and evening to change the house air.
